In-Home Physical Therapy
Physical therapy doesn’t have to happen in a clinic. Empathy Physical Therapy brings private, one-on-one care to homes in Sandy Springs, East Cobb, Marietta, Dunwoody, Buckhead, Vinings and Smyrna, so you can recover, rebuild strength and move better without the drive, the waiting room or the rush.
A licensed physical therapist, every visit. Every session is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist for the full visit.

Why therapy at home works
We practice where it matters.
We work on the everyday movements that matter to you, right where you do them.
No travel.
Especially valuable after surgery, during a flare-up or when driving isn't safe.
Nothing competes for attention.
You're not in a room full of other patients, splitting your therapist's time. The session is entirely about you.
Comfort and privacy.
Many people move and talk more freely in their own space.
Family can be part of it.
Spouses and caregivers can join, ask questions and learn how to help between visits.
Your time is respected.
No commute and no waiting. Visits fit into your day instead of taking it over.
In-home physical therapy compared with a typical clinic
| Empathy Physical Therapy | Typical clinic | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | Your home | A clinic you drive to |
| Attention | One-on-one for the full session | Therapist may see several patients at once |
| Setting | Your real stairs, furniture and routines | Gym equipment and treatment tables |
| Plan | Set by your goals | Often shaped by insurance visit limits |
Who in-home physical therapy is right for
You’re recovering from surgery and getting to a clinic is hard.
You’re dealing with back or neck pain that hasn’t improved.
You or a parent are worried about balance or falls.
You’re living with a neurological condition and want to stay independent.
You value your time and want care that fits your schedule.
You’re active and want to stay that way.
What a session includes
Every visit is built around your goals. Depending on what you need, a session may combine hands-on treatment, targeted exercise and education so you understand what’s happening and what to do between visits. Corey Klein, PT, brings a portable treatment table and the equipment for manual therapy, dry needling and exercise. All you need is a little open space.
Almost anything you'd see a physical therapist for in a clinic
If you don’t see yours here, call and ask.
